AmeriCorps Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) is hiring. CTEP members work to bridge the “digital divide” for new immigrants and low-income communities in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. We are looking for a CTEP to lead basic computer skills classes for adult students, and to provide one-on-one assistance to library patrons with computer skills, job searches and applications, and resume building.

Watercourse Counseling Center is seeking volunteers to join our board of directors. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing mental health services into the community, Watercourse therapists support Minneapolis students through our school-based mental health program.

PACER Puppet Program https://www.pacer.org/puppets/ seeks volunteer puppeteers to present puppet shows on Bullying Prevention and Disability Awareness to elementary aged children in the Twin Cities Metro area.

In April 2019, Minnesota will host the United States Academic Decathlon national competition. More than 70 teams from across the United States, China and the United Kingdom will attend the national competition in Bloomington, MN April 25-27. In Academic Decathlon, students participate in 10 events: economics, mathematics, science, social science, literature, art, music, essay, speech and interview. There is also a compilation event called Super Quiz that combines all areas into a quiz show style format. USAD is seeking volunteers to serve as judges for speech or interview as well as proctors for written exams and the Super Quiz. Without volunteer judges and proctors, this event would not be possible. Please consider joining us at this exciting competition! The Wilder Community Center for Aging is looking for Arts and Music Education volunteers for the Adult Day Health Program. Recognized for creative arts and engaging health and wellness activities, our program offers specialized service for older adults and adults with memory loss or chronic conditions. Program participants appreciate the time they get to spend with volunteers.
