More than 70 teams from across the United States, China and the United Kingdom will attend the national competition in Bloomington, MN April 25-27. In Academic Decathlon, students participate in 10 events: economics, mathematics, science, social science, literature, art, music, essay, speech and interview. There is also a compilation event called Super Quiz that combines all areas into a quiz show style format. USAD is seeking volunteers to serve as judges for speech or interview as well as proctors for written exams and the Super Quiz.
